MISSION

The objective of the Navtec District is to support projects that make the maritime transport system:
• more efficient
• less polluting
• less costly
• safer. In pursuing this objective, the District aims to transform the maritime economy through networking, cooperation, and internationalization initiatives, as well as through the participation in and promotion of projects, programs, and activities that enable:
• networking among research operators
• activation of public–private partnerships
• creation of synergies within European, national, and regional public initiatives
• implementation of a supply-chain approach to maritime research
• identification of opportunities for R&D alliances with international partners.
